Kye Pope was born in California, and moved to Utah in 1978. He has always been an
entrepreneur at heart, and feels fortunate to have gained
knowledge from each of the opportunities with which he has
been involved. He
ordered his first Real Estate investment books in 1986, and
had limited involvement until he became licensed in 2002.
Kye joined a traditional brokerage and had immediate success,
but felt he was paying too much for the minimal services he
was receiving. So, in the beginning of 2004 he met Brady
Long, the Founder & Principal Broker of Equity Real Estate,
and immediately knew that Equity was the company for him.
In 2005 Kye began recruiting agents for "profit share"
and built up a nice residual income. In 2006 he was
given the opportunity to become a Branch Broker, and with
the help of Quent Casperson, grew his brokerage to over 100
agents in six months working out of his home!
Kye was promoted to
the position of Vice President of Operations in 2007, and has
helped Brady expand Equity while implementing numerous
services. In 2008
he was promoted to CEO, taking on greater responsibilities and
continuing the quest for more agent services and higher
standards. Recently, with the help of the President of Operations,
Kim Farber-Lynch, Kye formed a "Senior Executive Team" to
focus on the expansion of Equity across the
nation.
If you were to ask Kye what he thinks about
his Equity experience, he would tell you how privileged and
humbled he feels to be associated with the people around
him. Kye knows
that if it were not for the hard work of his colleagues and
the loyalty they have shown to Equity, the company would not
be where it is today. He looks forward to an ever-growing sphere of influence
for Equity, and ultimately, to establishing Equity as the
global leader of Real Estate services, while maintaining the
highest level of professionalism and
